Creamsicle

OK I had an absolute blast on this 6'8" hull today. Even though it's only 21.5" wide and 2.75 thick it works on faces with a bit of power.

Last night

Well well well, last night I had the chance to ride an 80's 7'1" that might have been GL's.
Boy was it the perfect board for the conditions whooo wheeeee!

I like, I like... I had a few at First to get the feel, then paddled up to Second and had some screamers. Then back to first and done.

Last Night

Was fun but... Wrong hulls. both did not like mushy waves.
First I tried the Crayola Klaus. This one either needs a steeper wave or is really still jinxed:



Then I tried this 7'6" which I now feel has way too much rocker. I have to rethink ownership or modification of this one:

Sunday I finally got a chance to try out this stick but my head was splitting, I even threw up in the lineup.
Got a screaming right though...

May 9, second day on the Fat Bastard, still liking the ride...

May 8, day one testing out the Fat Bastard. Well got it out today at both first and second. I have to say I WANT ONE.
WHat a fun and kick ass board. I catches waves real easily, gets into trim after a few quick pumps. Really fun, even as a kneeboard.
Yeehaaaw...

May 3, 7 PM quick hour session at First on the 7'4" (I'm thinking of naming it "Twisted Sister")

April 29, A good session on a 7'4" I picked up back in Deccember, A real smooth hull even though it has a twist to it:


April 26 Met Mr. B had him try the 6'8" while I rode "Don" and "Canis Phallus" A very fun and fast evening. Had one memorable wave after a real late drop.

April 23 First day of large swell, had a bunch of head high waves, even considering the crowd. Mr. S got a shot of me on "Don Panson" as I was forcing a shoulder hopper off the wave.

Well I had the 6'8" out today in better conditions.  Paddles good, real smooth drop-in and I love the trim-flow.  Had a few from the top of the point to the creek mouth sandbar.

I need to weigh about 20lbs less to really get the feel of the thing.

Well now I have a new goal.

A new fun Liddle

Picked this up recently.
6'8" 18x 21.5x 14.5x 2.75  From the late '70s or early 80's.
Had it out this morning, was a bunch of fun, wish I'd had a longer session and maybe a bit better conditions.  

Will update with more riding feedback when I can.
